Frequently Asked Questions
Why an Octopus?
This metaphor connects my coaching style with a symbol of fluidity and strength, reflecting the multidimensional and relational aspects of this work as we together navigate complex, transformative journeys.
The octopus is a symbol of profound intelligence, adaptability, and transformation, much like the journeys we embark on through personal growth and healing. In my coaching practice, the octopus represents the flexibility needed to navigate life’s transitions—whether it’s through psychedelic integration or moving through other profound changes.
The octopus thrives in deep, often mysterious environments, a reminder that much of our growth happens in the unknown. Just as the octopus explores these depths, I support my clients in exploring their inner world, accessing hidden strengths, and moving through uncertainty with confidence.
With eight limbs, the octopus can reach in multiple directions at once, mirroring how we must often balance different aspects of our selves and our lives. Each arm can work independently, yet they are all connected to one body—a perfect metaphor for how the mind, body, and spirit work together in the healing process and the unification of such paves the road of self-actualization. This is integrated intelligence.
